Cognos Analytics Reporting Error – Report version is not supported

Question

Hi,

I am getting the following error from IBM Cognos Analytics – Reporting after the upgrade while trying to migrate a report from the staging environment.

The report version “http://developer.cognos.com/schemas/report/15.0/” is not supported. Expected report version “http://developer.cognos.com/schemas/report/14.2/”.

I cannot find any documentation online to resolve this issue ;(

    SOLUTION:

    Copy the report to clipboard

    Paste it into any xml editor (Notepad even works)

    Edit the line as below

    Cognos XML Edit for Report Version

    Copy all and Open the report from clipboard.

    Save and test it.

     

    *TESTED from Cognos 11.0.11 to 11.1.1 and it works on our end!
