How to Change the Battery in a Honeywell Thermostat?

Question

I have a Honeywell thermostat and I am seeing replace battery indication on the screen. I don’t know if I should remove the thermostat first or any other way to change the battery.

    Hi Bryan,

    If you check top right of your thermostat, you should be able to see “PRESS”. While pressing, pull it to the right as the following image. Then you will see 2 AA batteries in the socket.
